The Departmental Performance Trainer is a five day course designed for heads of department who are responsible for quality and performance. It is designed to run as a five day course or alternatively it can be run as five separate days over a number of weeks.

Course information
After this course, successful participants will be in a position to set mission, vision and strategies for achieving goals in their departments.
Further, they will analyse their departments training needs using a scoring system based on task priority, write job descriptions and skills checklists for each job and develop task breakdowns and procedures.
They will be able to manage skills trainers and performance programs in their department, train their own staff and conduct performance reviews based on the departmental standards. The course is split into theoretical and practical sessions over five days, and continues with observed training at monthly intervals.
